The brune has a malty, treacley, satisfying flavor - a bit of burnt caramel, chocolate, coffee. The head is thin, light tan, lasts for a little while, leaving a bit of lace in its stead. A bit of alcohol kick in the throat, just a touch syrupy, but not as heavy as, say, a Rochefort 10 or even a Westmalle Dubbel. Overall, a very satisfying brew, a nice taste, and, extremely drinkable! Comparable to a Corsendonk Pater (Oxford Bottled Beer Database). 25cl, 8%ABV.
