Brewed from a mix of four malts, 8.6 Gold is the result of close and harmonious collaboration between chief brewer and the malt master. A special malt technology has indeed been developed to reach this unique charming red colour and surprising mouthfeel. The brewers wanted to have an optimum balance in this beer taste between a sweet mouthfeel and a typical coloured caramelized taste sensation. By a variation of the diferent steeping, germination and kilning parameters, the master succeeded in the prodution of this inimitable flavour profile that makes 8.6 Gold so different!
