Jacobsen Forårsbryg is the House brewery Jacobsen’s spring beer of 2009.
The Jacobsen Forårsbryg is a part of a Nordic lager and beer tradition with great emphasis on ingredients from the Nordic countries. Among the ingredients is the Nordic white flower Woodruff from the areas Sunndal, Møre and Romsdal in Norway and the Slovenian hop type Styrian Golding.
Jacobsen Forårsbryg has a light cobber red colour with cream-coloured foam. The aroma is distinctly hopped with a touch of grape, pine needles, caramel and jasmine.
Serve at 8-10 C, with grilled or roasted lamb with herbs, roasted chicken, risotto with mushrooms and parmesan cheese or as an aperitif on its own.
