This classic beer style was first brewed by monks in the Middle Ages in order to fortify themselves during their fasting. A generous amount of malt goes into every bottle of smooth, rich Taybeh Dark Beer. Brewed in small batches in German traditional style using roasted malted barley, hops, yeast, and pure water creating a classic quality rare brew initially produced to celebrate Christmas 2000 at the turn of the century.
